CONSUMER LAW

With the enactment of the Consumer Protection Law numbered 6502 in 2014, the start of the actions of the provincial /district arbitration committees for consumers in disputes arising from Consumer Law, and secondary legislation, the responsibility and liability areas of producing companies, vendors, importer companies and corporations that provide technical service have been expanded.

Erdoğmuş Law & Mediation Office follows the legislative and technical changes closely and offers quality and result-oriented service in all the fields of Consumer Law.

These services include: pursuing lawsuits and disputes experienced in the Arbitration Committees for Consumer Problems and Consumer Courts, pursuing transactions, which are under the auspices of administrative/executive and regulatory agencies/authorities, as per consumer legislation and ensuring communication/connecting, obtaining mandatory certificates and documents, necessary, especially for the corporations’ areas of activity and legal/compliance auditing (Certificate of Warranty and CE Certification, etc.), creating user instruction manuals for products that fall within the corporations’ area of activity and compliance auditing, preparing technical service forms presented to consumers via authorized service agreements and ensuring currency/actuality within the scope of legislative changes.

Legal advice on the legal and regulatory compliance of products and services of different types makes the followings possible: preparing a substructure and drawing up contracts concerning/for these sales, preparing a substructure and drawing up contracts regarding/for distant sales (especially online sales), legal advice on the regulatory compliance of advertisements (lawful advertising) in accordance with the legal requirements of Consumer Legislation and public authorities, and presenting an opinion after making risk assessment within the scope of these processes.
